I think you'll find, as the previous expert suggested, that it depends on the driver for your printer. If I choose any of my standard printers, the largest size I see is A3, just like you. But if I choose a 'virtual printer', e.g., a PDF writer, I have a much wider range of paper sizes available, including A2, A1 and A0. Consequently, the problem may be your plotter driver isn't reporting it's ability to print on larger paper sizes. If it is indeed capable of it, but the driver isn't reporting properly, you might try creating a PDF at A2 size, then print the PDF to the plotter. No guarantees but it might get around the problem.
