Not a whole lot that can be done about that now though. Maybe I'll just pretend it was a rare miscut from the sheet of gold they printed these on. Edit: on a serious note, I think you have to expect there to be centering and other problems with these cards. You have to remember that Ginza Tanaka is a jeweler making trading cards, not a card company making jewelry. If people are expecting PSA 10 quality cards from Ginza Tanaka they are going to be very disappointed. I'm sure there are copies of this card with even worse centering issues than mine. Edit 2: I guess its also possible that they used a card with bad centering as their model, in which case, I would expect all of the copies of this card to have the same problem.
If anyone else has one of these it would be good to know if your centering is also screwed up. Some of you may remember this news article that came out a few months ago Well, even though the exact number being produced was unknown, and even though the retail price for this card was really high, I decided to buy one anyway (Probably because I hate money.) Anyway, its a very nice card and is well put together. Ginza Tanaka did a very nice job with the gold layering over the card.
I don't know if this is one of the rarest cards in my collection or not (given that we don't know how many cards were produced), but it is certainly one of the more expensive cards in my collection. You can see an updated list of my other extremely rare/valuable pokemon cards here if you're interested: Thanks for looking. It's extremely difficult to acquire as only 20 copies of each of the 20 cards were ever printed). Keep in mind that's just the items in the $2000+ range. I have a lot of really neat cards in the 1000-2000 price bracket as well. The link in my previous comment has detailed descriptions of the rarer pokemon cards in my collection if you want more information on any of those items. 216,000 yen For anyone too lazy to look it up, that ~1882 USD. I'm so jealous right now!
As the world's biggest Pikachu collection, and a sucker for the Base Pikachu, I would have loved to add it to my collection. That being said, as someone who only graduated college two years ago, and without my own apartment nor car yet, I couldn't justify buying it. (Probably for the best, since I recently bought a lot of other cards, including a set of two that were in total about the same as your Golden Pikachu, although I plan on grading + selling one of those. If I still collect Pikachus in ten years and the price is about the same - plus or minus 500 USD - I'll buy it.) Congrats on this amazing card.
